About us
The academy has been teaching English courses since 1990 using the Callan Method, being the only official school in the province of Barcelona authorized to teach with this system. More than 30,000 students have passed through its classrooms located at Vía Augusta 6 and Carrer Séneca 33, learning English through a method based on repetition and constant correction.
The teaching system is distinguished by its focus on continuous oral practice. Students speak throughout the entire class without doing written exercises or silent reading comprehension tests. Each session represents total immersion in the language, where teachers correct all errors immediately and students constantly work on new vocabulary and grammatical structures.
The organizational characteristics include:
- Small groups with an average of 5 to 6 students, with a maximum of 10 students per class
- Teaching hours from 10:30 to 22:00 hours
- Possibility to change schedule as many times as necessary
- Recovery of missed classes
- Native teachers from different parts of the world
The Callan methodology consists of 12 progressive levels and is taught only in rigorously selected academies worldwide. This system avoids dead time and loss of concentration, keeping students linguistically active throughout the entire session. Unlike free conversation, where only known English is used, the method pushes students out of their comfort zone to acquire new skills from day one.

The school conducts prior level tests at no cost to assign each student the appropriate course. It also has a Club Callan that organizes activities to practice conversation. Students who are unemployed or on ERTE have reduced rates, and there is an option to finance payment over three months without interest. The academy offers a trial class to learn how the method works before formalizing enrollment.
