About us

The Instituto Europeo De Kinesiología Unificada (IEKU) in Barcelona is a clinic specialized in kinesiology that stands out for its own method, Kinesiología Unificada®, developed by Ruben Álvarez, a kinesiologist with more than two decades of experience. This technique addresses physical, energetic and emotional wellbeing in a holistic way, detecting and treating the real causes of the imbalances that affect each person.

The team is made up of professionals with diverse training and specific experience: Ruben Álvarez, creator of the method and kinesiologist with 20 years in the field; Amandine Faucher, kinesiologist and naturopath expert in digestion, nutrition and sleep; and Jordi Platero, kinesiologist and osteopath specialized in nervous system and motor development. This variety allows each case to be approached from different perspectives and offers support adapted to individual needs.

Consultation process:
1. Initial interview to understand the problem or objective.
2. Postural assessment to identify physical factors influencing the discomfort.
3. Energetic and emotional assessment to balance body and mind.
4. Correction and monitoring of imbalances found.
5. Complementary recommendations, which may include exercises, supplements or referral to other specialists if necessary.
6. Integration and monitoring of changes so that the patient adopts an active role in their wellbeing.

The institute offers both in-person consultations in Barcelona and online sessions, facilitating access to people with different circumstances. In addition, it has a training offer that includes courses, retreats and podcasts aimed at health professionals, promoting the dissemination and application of kinesiology in other fields.
