About us
The doctor practices as a specialist in dermatology and internal medicine in Barcelona, combining both disciplines to offer a patient-centered approach to wellbeing. With over 10 years of experience, his training includes studies at Universidad de Santiago de Compostela and residencies at Hospital POVISA in Vigo and Hospital Universitari Sagrat Cor in Barcelona.
During his training he completed additional external rotations in the Infectious Diseases Service and the Systemic and Autoimmune Diseases Service at Hospital Vall d'Hebron. This preparation enables him to address cases requiring knowledge across multiple medical areas, from skin conditions to infectious and autoimmune pathologies.
His clinical practice areas include:
- Treatment of skin, hair and nail conditions
- Oral and genital lesions related to sexually transmitted diseases
- Eczema and psoriasis
- Skin cancer and melanoma
- Pediatric dermatology
- Autoimmune diseases
He actively participates in medical research, regularly contributing to international studies through scientific publications and presentations. He has been author and co-author of several articles in national and international medical journals, with works published by the National Institutes of Health in the United States. His research topics have covered the diagnostic and therapeutic approach to chronic diarrhea, hepatocerebral degeneration and parvovirus B19 in adults.
He is an active member of the Spanish Society of Internal Medicine, the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, the Clinical Ultrasound Working Group of SEMI and the Illustrious College of Physicians of Barcelona. He combines his clinical practice with teaching at Grupo CTO, contributing to the training of new medical professionals.
He provides consultations in three languages: Spanish, English and Galician, facilitating communication with international patients and those from different backgrounds who reside in Barcelona or visit the city.
