About us
Liposuction is performed by removing localized fatty tissue from specific body areas through cannulas inserted via small strategically placed incisions. These cannulas are connected to a suction system that aspirates the excess fat. The center also offers 360 liposuction, an increasingly in-demand modality that allows for fat transfer using the extracted fat to reintroduce it into another body part that one wishes to enhance.
The techniques applied include:
- Traditional liposuction through aspiration with probes or cannulas inserted through incisions hidden in skin folds
- Laser liposuction that employs different techniques to better retract the skin
- Autologous fat transfer to breasts, buttocks or hips according to the surgeon's assessment
The procedure lasts between 1 and 4 hours depending on the body area. It is performed with local or general anesthesia depending on the area to be treated. Results are definitive three months after surgery. It is important to know that this is an uncomfortable procedure, mainly during the first days, although pain is relieved with analgesics.
The recovery process requires resting for one week. After two weeks, the patient can return to their usual routine. During the following six weeks, it is advisable to:
- Wear compression garments
- Perform lymphatic drainage through therapeutic massages
- Apply ultrasound treatments
The center proposes complementing the process with radiofrequency sessions, carboxytherapy or shock waves to achieve firmer skin without cellulite. The surgeon assesses which area could be suitable for fat transfer based on each patient's body harmonization. The center's location is on Mallorca street in Barcelona, with service from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 21:00 and Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00.
