Vaser liposuction uses specialized ultrasound technology that works through vibration amplification of sound energy at resonance. This procedure removes persistent fat deposits by sending ultrasonic frequency waves that break down fat cells, allowing body contours and shape to be changed with greater precision than traditional liposuction.

The procedure works under general anesthesia when working on several large areas or the entire body, requiring one night of hospital admission. Once the patient is sedated, a tumescent solution is injected to numb the area and constrict blood vessels. Instead of using manual movement, high-frequency sound vibration breaks down the fat cells, which are then suctioned out through a thin cannula along with the fluid containing them. Upon completion, a small amount of medication is left in the treated area to help reduce postoperative pain.
