About us
This center combines sports podiatry with clinical practice, using 3D technology to perform precise diagnoses of pathologies affecting various areas of the body. The team consists of licensed podiatrists and orthoprosthetic technicians who work on injury prevention and treatment of gait alterations.
Services are structured in two main areas:
- Sports podiatry with biomechanical studies and running technique analysis
- Clinical podiatry for foot pathology treatment
- Diabetic foot care and pediatric podiatry
- Foot and nail surgery when necessary
The center holds a manufacturing license to produce custom insoles with 3D technology. This specialization allows the creation of personalized treatments based on detailed analyses of each patient's body mechanics. Biofeedback is used as a detection tool for injuries in body mechanics.
The team includes Dr. Ferran Viladot, licensed podiatrist number 1773, Dr. Laura Sánchez, licensed podiatrist number 1664, and Dr. Melani Ruiz, licensed podiatrist number 1989. The team is completed by Jordi Viladot and Magda Aldavert as orthoprosthetic technicians, plus support staff.
The clinic treats everything from toenail problems to gait alterations that may be causing knee pain or other joint issues. The preventive approach seeks to avoid future injuries through biomechanical analysis and gait correction. They also provide follow-up in pediatric podiatry, accompanying children in their first steps.
