About us
Danafi is a watchmaking workshop operating since 1908, dedicated to the restoration and repair of all types of watches. In 2025, it received the JORGC Watchmaking Award, granted by the Official Association of Jewelers, Goldsmiths, Watchmakers and Gemologists of Catalonia, in recognition of its trajectory and continued contribution to the watchmaking sector.
The workshop performs specialized work that includes:
- Restoration of watch dials with bas-relief and silver graining techniques
- Plating and rhodium plating of watch cases
- Restoration of hand sets
- Repair and maintenance of watch movements
- Polishing and finishing of cases and bracelets
Among the brands they work with are Rolex, Omega, Longines, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Patek Philippe, Citizen and Duward. The workshop applies specific techniques such as the application of luminescence with Super Luminova on dials and faces, as well as restorations that preserve the emotional value of the pieces.
The work performed ranges from simple watch battery replacement to vintage watch restorations and the recovery of pieces with sentimental value for their owners. The workshop documents its interventions showing examples such as the restoration of a square Longines, an Omega caliber 565 with color change, a Citizen Flyback chronometer, a Duward Aquastar 200 m, a Mondaine and a Nautilus de Patek Philippe.
The shop is located in Barcelona and offers in-person service to answer questions about watch restoration and repair. The workshop presents itself as an official technical service for different brands, guaranteeing precision and care in each intervention on the pieces it receives.
