Viajes H.I.S.

About us

This Japanese agency operates from Barcelona designing trips to Japan with regular departures from different cities in Spain. Their tours combine guided routes with free exploration days, allowing discovery from the streets of Tokyo to the temples of Kyoto, passing through villages like Shirakawa-go and cities like Kanazawa, Takayama, Hiroshima and Osaka.

Services include several logistical components that facilitate travel throughout the country:

- Official Japan Rail Pass to travel on Japan Railways lines, some buses and the ferry to Miyajima
- Nohibus tickets for specific routes
- Accommodation in hotels and traditional ryokan
- Two luggage shipments during the journey

The agency offers two main travel modalities. Tours with Spanish-speaking guides include small groups, from departures of 2 people up to a maximum of 10 or 35 travelers depending on the chosen program. Local guides accompany throughout the entire journey sharing knowledge about Japanese culture, traditions and gastronomy. The other option is the independent packages of 14 days and 13 nights, where travelers organize their days with all transport and accommodation already booked.

Among the destinations featured in their itineraries are Tokyo, Kyoto, Takayama, Shirakawa-go, Kanazawa, Miyajima, Osaka, Kamakura, Okayama, Kurashiki and Hiroshima. Some routes include views of Mount Fuji. Programs can start from Osaka or Tokyo depending on the chosen route.

The agency acts as official issuer of the Japan Rail Pass, the voucher that allows use of almost all Japan Railways train lines in Japanese territory. This pass also includes some buses and the ferry from Miyajima-guchi. Itineraries are flexible and allow trip customization according to each traveler's preferences and date availability.
