Jesús G. Pastor

About us

Jesús G. Pastor works from Barcelona as a photographer focused on capturing real stories through photojournalism, travel photography, and sports event coverage. His work ranges from local coverage of general strikes and electoral processes such as the 14F elections to international projects in destinations like Peshawar and El Salvador.

His approach is based on three main areas of work:

- Photojournalism of political and social events
- Sports photography including surf and other disciplines
- Documentary travel reportages
- Wedding coverage with reportage style

The photographer's trajectory includes fieldwork in diverse contexts, from conflicts and complex social situations to sporting events in natural environments. This experience in photojournalism brings a narrative and documentary perspective to all his projects, including weddings, which he approaches from a visual reportage perspective rather than posed photography.

Jesús G. Pastor also offers training through his educational proposal. He teaches an online course focused on technical camera control, designed for photographers who want to master their equipment and understand the technical fundamentals of photography. This training facet complements his work as an active professional in different fields.

- The photographer's blog includes reflections on social and visual topics
- He publishes articles under titles such as Modas de clase or La educación puede matar
- He maintains his own editorial line about his vision of the world

His base in Barcelona allows him to work both in the city and travel for projects that require presence in other national and international locations. The experience accumulated in photojournalism and travel coverage defines his working style, oriented towards telling visual stories with content and context.
