About us
The notary office is directed by Juan Madridejos Velasco and Luis Alberto Álvarez Moreno, two notaries in Barcelona who lead a team of thirteen professionals. The office offers in-person service at its facilities and also provides home notary services when circumstances require it.
The team works in the following areas of notarial law:
- Inheritance law, including wills, declarations of heirs and formalization of inheritances
- Real estate and contractual law, with purchase and sale operations, new construction declarations and donations
- Mortgage procedures
- Formation and modification of commercial companies
- Dissolution of domestic partnerships
The notary office has developed an online communication system that allows certain procedures to be carried out without the need to physically attend the offices. This digitalization seeks to facilitate access to notarial services from any location, adapting to clients' mobility needs.
In family law matters, the office processes powers of attorney, marriage settlements and other acts related to the family sphere. They also perform testimonies, signature authentications, nationality oaths and Hague apostilles. The service includes tax and registry management derived from each notarial operation.
The notaries analyze the tax implications of each operation, studying the tax burden corresponding to sales, inheritances, donations and other acts requiring notarial intervention.
